We are now taking nominations for the Class of 2013. Nominations will be taken until June 22, 2012. Please read the information below prior to completing the online nomination form located at the bottom of the page.
To graduate, participants are expected to attend at least 85% of the scheduled program. Days are 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., unless noted. The applicant and CEO or immediate supervisor is asked to commit to the attendance and participation policies of the program at the time the application is submitted.

Those chosen to be members of the class will be notified in mid-July. Upon notification of acceptance, the $500 tuition check must be received within 14 calendar days or the applicant’s position will be awarded to an alternate.
MCLC is designed to identify, prepare, and build upon leadership resources within Marshall County. The objectives of the program are:
-To motivate participants to achieve their leadership potential.
-To bring together participants and other current leaders to discuss the present and future direction of Marshall County.
-To prepare participants as more effective professionals by sharpening their leadership skills.
-To challenge participants to greater involvement through volunteer roles in the community.
-To examine programs and agencies that currently operates within Marshall County.
-To create the opportunity for participants to come to know, respect, and establish rapport with each other.

MAKE A NOMINATION
-Individuals and businesses can nominate up to two individuals they feel have strong leadership qualities and would contribute to and benefit from MCLC. Self-nominations are encouraged.
-All nominees will receive an application either by mail or email to fill out and return to the Selection Committee by July 9th, 2012.
-The Selection Committee shall review all applications and submit nominations to the Board of Directors. In selecting the nominees, the Committee shall attempt to represent a broad spectrum of firms and organizations throughout Marshall County.
MCLC will extensively explore Local and State Government, Economic Development, Tourism, Education, Public Safety, Media and Health and Social Services- tours will involve an extensive amount of walking. Numerous speakers representing various programs and agencies will serve as resources for our hands-on look at Marshall County.
The Selection Committee will choose a class that is representative of the diverse leadership needs of the community. The class is limited to 25 participants. The members of the Class will be announced to the public in early August.
